The climate of Tunisia varies according to its landscape and hence enjoys a mixture of Mediterranean as well as African climate. Where the Northern Tunisia has a typically Mediterranean climate, the southern part of Tunisia experiences unpleasant summer which goes above mid 40° C. The close proximity to the Sahara Desert, the Sirocco winds contribute to dry climate in Tunisia. The rainfall in Tunisia also varies with the region with some parts of Tunisia sometimes remaining dry. The best time when you can view the crowd of tourists is from the month of October to December when the golden sun shines on the beaches and warms the sea.
